Forgot to post this. This is actually from last year. The last of 3 consecutive emo pics I worked on. The other pics are The Scar and Silent Emotion, can be seen from my portfolio (the thread had been closed, unfortunately)

The feeling here is trapped, tormented, and resignation. There supposed to be a story, but I'm too lazy to tell it now that it has been so long since it's made (the moment's gone ^^)

A creature portrait practice. Took me a month because I developed the design as I paint and keep changing the colors. Started as a personal emotive fantasy, but turned to be a long and hard practice. Couldn't make up my mind for the background and there was problem with the lighting. So glad it's done. Thank you for everyone that had helped me with the WIP thread:

A solitary immortal spirit, he sleeps during the rest of the year and woke up at winter. With the snowflake charm he called upon snow.

Winter Prince is a character that's been hanging on the back of my had for the past few months.
At first I was going to make him a cold and distant character but found that it didn't suit the theme. He's still a solitary figure, but it's because of his role as the guardian of winter.

After a dozen sketches and 2 unfinished paintings, I finally settle on this one. It's been hard realizing the concept. Even now there's still so much I want to work on, but the deadline is near and I got to call it quit ^^

Half an hour sketch, 20 or so hours (5 days) of fun painting ^^.
Although it turned exactly as I wanted, I'm still not satisfied on some part. Plus, I don't know if drawing those misty dementor-ish things on the background a good idea or not, but it does support the story ^^.
